I am experienced, personable, and believe in utilizing the most natural and proven methods to recovery. In addition to traditional skilled nursing care, I can utilize integrative health techniques such as massage, aromatherapy, nature exposure and garden therapy. More and more people are embracing these integrative therapies.

We recognize that choosing home nursing care is a very personal decision, and therefore we provide an initial consult visit for $50.00. This is a meet and greet visit to discuss the patient’s needs, meet the RN/nurse practitioner and determine if our services are a good match. This fee may be applied to the monthly home nursing care fee.

Who We Are

Lisa is a nurse practitioner with a wide range of nursing experiences. These include hospital and home nursing care, and specialization with developmentally delayed persons of all ages and pediatric care of children. Lisa also is experienced in caring for the elderly in the home and is able to provide the assessment skills and skilled care to keep family members at home and to check on them for proper daily functioning such as diet and hydration intake, ambulation in the home and level of activity, medication compliance, mental health status. Having an objective professional available to check on family members relieves the immediate family of these worrisome tasks.

What We Do

The $50 initial consult visit allows time to meet the nurse, discuss your family member’s current needs and determine whether Our Family Nurse is an agency that can help you. We currently are a no-insurance self-pay-for-services company. This allows time to focus on providing nursing care and communicating with primary doctors and key people without spending time on insurance submission and negotiations. Many insurance companies limit the type of care or length of visits that are reimbursable.
